Description
Located on the Gulf of Carpentaria, South of Weipa, Napranum Aboriginal Shire Council required a shade solution for their Splash Park.
Situated on the coast it is subject to extreme weather conditions and required demountable rigging. The height of existing elements of the play equipment had to be accommodated in the design to meet Australian Standards.
Sail Structures designed and installed the structure, Monotec 370 shade sail and demountable rigging. All components were either sea freighted or delivered by road. Sail Structures used local suppliers and contractors where possible.
