Description
Located on the Gulf of Carpentaria the original structure at this local council pool was damaged in a cyclone. Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council required existing bent posts to be removed and a new engineered structure installed. Sail Structures instructed Wright Outcomes to design and engineer a shade structure that allowed partial light into the pool when fully installed and a winter option with half the pool covered. In times of high winds the sail can be dropped using demountable rigging.
